If you are having problems using PeerCast or would like to find information on how to use it, there are several ways to get help:

Setting up PeerCast is quick and easy, this quickstart guide should get you up and running in minutes.

The PeerCast FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) is the best way to find out the basics. Please check this out before visiting the forums.

The forum is the main place to find out the latest information on using PeerCast, if you have a question or problem please search in here first. The chances are your problem has already been discussed before.

There is a peercast channel available on freenode that usually has someone around that may be able to help your problem. You don`t even need to have an IRC client installed to connect, just visit our Java IRC page here.

We now have a Wiki that allows people to add their own pages or edit existing pages. If you have a piece of advice for other PeerCast users, or would like to add a tutorial on how to broadcast etc. them please add it to the Wiki so that everyone can see.

If you have a website and would like to reach more listeners, then join the peercast WebRing! Its a free and easy way to help people find you.

PeerCast is released under a GPL license, which means you are free to download and modify the source code, as long you abide by the terms of the license.

We also have a commercial license that allows you to use peercast technology in a non-GPL application or service.
