peercast is available under a commercial
license as well as the GPL. The commercial license allows you
to include peercast technology in a proprietary application or
service that is not released under the GPL (General Public License)
and so lets you use peercast without any of the GPL restrictions.
This version of peercast requires a simple one-time
registration before you can broadcast and has the same functionality
of the normal GPL client, but in order to continue broadcasting
past the initial registration period you will need to pay a
fee that we will negotiate with you.
